Budesonide is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways, helping to prevent asthma attacks and COPD exacerbations.

How  Formoterol Fumaraten and Budesonide works?

How to use  Formoterol Fumaraten and Budesonide

Preparation:

1. Make sure your hands are clean and dry before handling the s.
2. Remove the from the blister pack only when you are ready to use it.
3. Do not swallow the s. They are for inhalation use only.

Inhalation:

1. Hold the inhaler upright with the red cap on the bottom.
2. Twist and remove the red cap.
3. Check the mouthpiece for any foreign objects and make sure it is clean.
4. Breathe out fully, away from the inhaler.
5. Place the mouthpiece between your lips and close your lips around it, forming a tight seal.
6. Inhale forcefully and deeply through your mouth, while pressing down on the canister to release the medication.
7. Continue to inhale until your lungs are full.
8. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, or as long as comfortable.
9. Remove the inhaler from your mouth and exhale slowly.
10. Replace the red cap on the inhaler.

Cleaning:

1. Wipe the mouthpiece with a clean, dry tissue or cloth after each use.
2. Do not wash the inhaler or put it in water.

Formoterol fumarate and budesonide are medications commonly used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Like any medication, they can cause side effects.

• Chest tightness
• Chills
• Cough
• Difficulty with breathing
• Ear congestion
• Fever
• Headache
• Throat irritation
• Thrush in the mouth and throat
• Lower respiratory tract infections
• Sores or white patches in the mouth and throat
• Pain when swallowing
• Tremors
• Nervousness
• Chest pain
• Fast or pounding heartbeats
• Cough with mucus
• Feeling short of breath
• Blurred vision
• Tunnel vision
• Eye pain or redness
• Seeing halos around lights
• Flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, body aches, unusual tiredness)
• High blood sugar symptoms (increased thirst, increased urination, dry mouth, fruity breath odour)

Precautions

1. Do not use if you are allergic to budesonide, formoterol, or any ingredients in the medication.
2. Seek medical help immediately if you experience coughing or worsening of symptoms after using the medication.
3. Do not use for acute asthma or COPD attacks, as it is for regular maintenance therapy.
4. Be cautious of potential systemic corticosteroid effects if using excessive doses for prolonged periods.
5. When used alone, formoterol may increase the risk of death in people with asthma, but this risk is not increased when used in combination with budesonide.
